Tennis squads qualify for state

While Columbia Falls may not have had the titles, three doubles pairings secured spots in the state tournament May 22-23 in Billings.

Will Pickard and Silas Ypma came second in the boys competition at the Western A divisional tourney in Libby last week.

Teammates Jax Ramage and Sol Masters also took a top four spot.

As a team, the boys took second.

 On the girls side, Alanis Peterson and Aliyah Arends finished top four.

The top four qualify in each category qualify for state. The tennis team is showing plenty of promise, with a host of young talent coming up through the ranks.
