Sedaris coming to Kalispell
The Wachholz College Center is proud to welcome renowned author and humorist David Sedaris for an evening of unforgettable storytelling on Nov. 12. Sedaris brings his signature blend of humor, keen observation, and deeply personal insight to the stage in a live event that promises to entertain and inspire.
Sedaris, one of America’s most celebrated humorists, is the author of numerous New York Times bestsellers including “Me Talk Pretty One Day,” “Calypso,” and “Happy-Go-Lucky,” which debuted at No.1 and won the 2023 Audie Award. His work regularly appears in The New Yorker and has been featured in The Best American Essays. His latest book, “Pretty Ugly” — a children’s title illustrated by Ian Falconer — was released in February 2024 to critical acclaim, earning a starred review from Kirkus.
Sedaris has been nominated for five Grammy Awards for Best Spoken Word and Best Comedy Album. His audio recordings include “David Sedaris: Live for Your Listening Pleasure” and “David Sedaris Live at Carnegie Hall.”
