Swimmers home this week

The Columbia Falls swim team took second in Chester, last weekend. It was a grueling weekend with temperatures in the low 40s with constant rain, but the kids stepped up really well, coach Kyle Babcock noted.

 “They found ways to stay warm and still swam hard,” Babcock said. “A second place finish with a small team and harsh outdoor conditions is no small feat.”

Quinten Babcock and Hadley Edwards were able to secure high point trophies and the team had a number of kids placing in the top three.

The Columbia Falls swim team hosts the next meet at Pinewood Aquatic Center over June 28 - 29.  Folks are encouraged to come out and cheer on the team.
