No race for mayor, but there is for Columbia Falls council

There will be no race for mayor this upcoming Columbia Falls city election, but five candidates will vie for three open seats on the city council.

Incumbent longtime Mayor Don Barnhart is the lone candidate for that seat. Incumbent Paula Robinson is seeking re-election to council. Newcomers Marijke Stob, Christopher Semok, Elizabeth McBride and Hannah Pennington are all running for council.

City elections are nonpartisan.
