Firefighters return to douse house fire, again

Firefighters from Bad Rock, Columbia Falls and Hungry Horse were back at the scene of a house fire on Memorial Day after rubble from the home reignited.

The house was off of Middle Road and had initially caught on fire on May 24. The two-story home was largely destroyed in the initial blaze. No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation said Bad Rock Chief Travis Cannon.

In the initial fire, Columbia Falls, Hungry Horse, Martin City and Creston all responded with mutual aid.
