Free Canyon dinner

The free Canyon Community Dinner is held at the Canyon Elementary  on Thursday, April 24.  Dinner is served between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. The menu will be breakfast for dinner consisting of a  special pancake dinner served  with sausage and a special dessert. Come early and enjoy a cup of coffee and mingle with friends. Any questions, call Louann 261-1083 or Flo 250-3406.



American Legion flag program

The Columbia Falls American Legion Freedom Post 72 is rejuvenating the flag  program. Starting the coming Memorial day holiday and 11 other national holidays, the group will start putting the American flag on all businesses that participate in the program. To participate send a donation to American Legion Post 72, PO Box 250, Columbia Falls, MT, 59912. With the donation send a business name and physical address, phone number, or call flag chairman Jonathon Foust at 406-407-0558 or Commander Bill Rhine at 406-871-7376 and to obtain an application form.



Free Columbia Falls meals

The Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will be serving free meals on April 29 and 30 at 6 p.m. in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church. The meals will be delicious and everyone is welcome. The community kitchen is nondenominational.


Clean the Falls

The annual Glacier Bank Clean the Falls event is Saturday starting at 9 a.m. After helping clean up the town, people are encouraged to come back to the bank for great prizes and a free lunch provided by the Columbia Falls Lions Club.
