Glacier reopens Sun Road over Logan Pass

Glacier National Park officials reopened the Going-to-the-Sun Road over Logan Pass Thursday morning.
The thunderstorms that were expected Wednesday night didn't materialize over the park. Thursday morning a steady rain was falling, but no severe weather.
The park had announced Wednesday that due to the threat of heavy rain and mudslides, they would close the road over the pass from 9 p.m. Wednesday to Friday morning.
Other areas well south of the park in Montana had flash flood warnings up due to thunderstorms.
