Hoops teams on the road in December

Winter sports practices have kicked off in the past week, but you’ll have to wait until January for a home varsity boys basketball game.
The Wildcats are on the road until Jan. 11, when they face Hamilton at home.
The season kicks off Dec. 13 with the Western A tip-off tourney in Frenchtown when the Cats face Loyola.
The girls also tip-off at the same tourney, but they open with Fergus County.
They have a home game a bit earlier, on Jan. 9 they play Frenchtown.
On the wrestling front, the boys and girls open at the Owen Invitational in Polson Dec. 6-7. They have a quad meet at home on Dec. 17.
Swimming opens its season Dec. 14 with the Kalispell Invitational, which at this point, looks like the closest they’ll be to home this season. (They practice at the Wave in Whitefish).
