NO. 1787 SECTION 00 10 50 - INVITATION TO BID Polson Public School District #23, 111 4th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860 will receive sealed bids until 3:00 p.m., local time, Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, for the supply and install of furnishings for Cherry Valley and Linderman Elementary Schools, Polson, Montana. All bids should be mailed and received or delivered by the above time to the District Office, 111 4th Ave E, Polson, MT 59860. Bids will be opened and read publicly at 3:00 p.m. The work consists of supplying and installing furniture for Cherry Valley and Linderman Elementary Schools. Copies of the Drawings and Specifications will be available for review by qualified Bidders at the Builder’s Exchange website. Drawings and Specifications will be available Monday, May 6th, 2024. Each bidder shall have a current Montana Public Contractor’s License of the proper class, as defined and set forth in the Montana Code Annotated. The project is also subject to Montana State Prevailing Wage Rate requirements, and the Montana Contractor’s Gross Receipts tax requirements. Each bid shall be accompanied by lawful monies of the United States, or with a cashier’s check, certified check, bank money order, or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a national banking association or savings and loan association located in the State of Montana, or a bid bond or bonds executed by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total net bid, made payable to Polson Public School District #23 as a guarantee of complete compliance with the specifications. Bids shall be submitted on a copy of the form provided within the contract documents. Polson Public School District #23 reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept any bid which it deems most advantageous. NO. 1788 HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 6 (COLUMBIA FALLS) FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA ELECTION CERTIFICATE High School District No. 6 (Columbia Falls), Flathead County, Montana conducted a mail ballot building reserve levy election on May 7, 2024, at which the following proposition was presented: Shall the Board of Trustees (the “Board”) of High School District No. 6 (Columbia Falls), Flathead County, Montana (the “High School District”) be authorized to impose a building reserve levy of 20.53 mills per year to raise approximately $1,375,000 per year for 2 years for a total amount of approximately $2,750,000 for the purpose of providing funds to pay or finance the costs of replacing the existing roof on the east wing of the high school building and associated improvements and costs? If this building reserve levy proposition passes, it is estimated that property taxes on a home with an assessed market value for tax purposes of $100,000 would increase by approximately $2.31 per month or approximately $27.72 per year, of $300,000 would increase by approximately $6.93 per month or approximately $83.16 per year, and of $600,000 would increase by approximately $13.86 per month or approximately $166.32 per year. An increase in property taxes may lead to an increase in rental costs. The total number of registered electors who were eligible to vote in the building reserve levy election was 8,809. The canvass of the votes establishes that 2,031 electors voted “BUILDING RESERVE LEVY- YES”, and that 1,576 electors voted “BUILDING RESERVE LEVY - NO”. THEREFORE, BE IT CERTIFIED that the above proposition has been approved in accordance with the provisions of Montana Code Annotated, Sections 20-9-502, 20-20-415, and 20-20-416, and that the Board of Trustees of High School District No. 6 (Columbia Falls), Flathead County, Montana is hereby authorized to impose a building reserve levy for the purpose and in the amount specified in the ballot proposition.
