Easter egg hunt

The annual Columbia Falls Lions Club Easter egg hunt is at 1 p.m. March 31 at Marantette Park. The event is open to youths up to age 12 and this year there will be a section for special needs children. There are prizes for each age group. The Lions have been holding the event for more than 70 years now. Questions? Call Steve Melby at (406) 249-5547.

Quilt show

The 2024 Teakettle Quilters Quilt Show is at the new Glacier Gateway Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. April 20. The guild has about 90 members and quilts from them will be on display. There will also be vendors and a vintage sewing machine display. Entrance fee is a donation to the Columbia Falls Food Bank.

Free meal

On March 28 we will be holding our free Anniversary Dinner at the Hungry Horse School between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Our menu is pork loin dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, green salad, and topped off with a surprise cake. Free meals

Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will be serving hot, delicious, free meals on March 30 and 31 in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m.  We are nondenominational and everyone is welcome.  Hope to see you there.

Heritage Days

Folks interested in helping with Heritage Days should call Shirley Reynolds soon at (406) 892-1078. The committee meets on Wednesdays at 3 p.m., but that can be altered to meet folks’ schedules.
