Cynthia “Cindy” Bell-Decker, 69

Cynthia “Cindy” Diane Bell-Decker passed away peacefully on March 14. She fought and beat two previous bouts of cancer, and for a year, courageously fought her third battle, but eventually succumbed.   Cindy died at her home in Columbia Falls surrounded by her family.   She was 69 years old.   

Cindy was born on September 25, 1954, in Chillicothe, OH.  She spent most of her early years in Fort Shaw.   Her family moved to the Flathead Valley in 1971.  Cindy graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1973.  

She married Dave Bell shortly after graduating and they welcomed their beloved only child, Aleisa Marie on Sept 15, 1976.  

Cindy retired from the housekeeping staff at Meadow Lake County Club after 25 years of service.   

Cindy loved her family and friends.   She also loved music of all kinds; attending concerts with her daughter was a favorite activity.  

She spent many years enjoying camping and boating on the Hungry Horse Reservoir, where views of Great Northern Mountain was her favorite. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Emory and LaVern Kemp.   

Cindy is survived by her daughter Aleisa “Lisa”Bell-Ballard and her husband, Derek Ballard; her sisters Gwen (Tim) Shay and Brenda (Bradford) McLamb, and her brother Dick (Laurie) Kemp.  Also, her husband Cal Decker and his children.
