Prom
The Columbia Falls High School prom grand march is at 8 p.m. March 16 at the Columbia Falls High School Little Theater. The prom itself is afterwards at the Cedar Creek Lodge.
Heritage Days
Folks interested in helping with Heritage Days should call Shirley Reynolds soon at (406) 892-1078. The committee meets on Wednesdays at 3 p.m., but that can be altered to meet folks’ schedules.
Meet Ranger
The Flathead National Forest is hosting a series of spring meet and greet events with the new Spotted Bear District Ranger, Adam LaDell. The purpose of the events are to allow the public to get to know LaDell and provide them with the opportunity to ask questions and engage in conversation in an informal setting. Meetings coming up include:
Thursday, March 21 at Bias Brewing in Kalispell from 5-7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 10 at Backslope Brewing in Columbia Falls from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Friday, April 26 at Colter Coffee in Kalispell from 9-11 a.m.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
The Big Brothers/Big Sisters fundraiser and event is March 14 at 5 p.m. at the Kalispell Expo Fairgrounds Building. Tickets are $100 for individuals and $175 for couples, which includes a dinner catered by DeSoto Grill. The program matches adult mentors with disadvantaged youth and is now in its 45th year in the valley. For more information contact the organization at (406) 752-0092.
Little Cat Tracks
Register now for Little Cats Track. Little Cat Tracks is an independent program run by the Wildcat Track Club. Little Cats Tracks was created to interest younger kids in track, and teach some preliminary skills. The Wildcat Track Club, also, looks at this as an opportunity for high school track athletes to improve their skills through coaching. There will not be an in person registration. Practices are Wednesdays, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. through early May at the junior high track.
