A Columbia Falls Firefighter team will climb Columbia Center in the Seattle Stairclimb March 10, to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. The Northwest Montana Photographers would like to invite you to our March 12, meeting in Columbia Falls at the fellowship church. Our speaker will be Robert Hanson, well-known local photographer. He will be teaching on putting slideshows together for public shows and viewing. Everyone is welcome. Meeting will start at 7 p.m. 

Columbia Falls American Legion Post 72 is having their Annual Legion Oratorical competition March 16 a 1 p.m. in the Masonic Temple across from Smith Foods in Columbia Falls. Students attending Columbia Falls High School, private home schoolers and Christian schools are invited to attend for a chance to earn scholarships. Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will host a luncheon on Wednesday, March 20 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church located at 827 Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls. Guest speakers, The Abbie Shelter will share how they serve the women of the Flathead Valley and Judy Johnson will share her inspirational story of hope, optimism and love. Donations of full size personal care and hygiene products will be collected for The Abbie Shelter.  Cost is $10 and all women are welcome to attend. The Knights of Columbus Council 7009 are holding their annual Friday Lenten Meals fundraising event during March at Saint Richard’s Parish, 1210 Ninth Street West, Columbia Falls. To-go orders will be available at 5 p.m. with dine-in meals from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
