Kid stole candy from a store. Person claimed a bottle of pills was stolen during an oil change from his car.

Report of a group of kids running in front of cars. A motorcycle with no plates evaded a police officer and may have been zipping down Highway 2 at 100 mph.

June 6

A caller was worried that her 13-year-old daughter was being “groomed.” A person told police in Missoula they had been sexually assaulted years ago in Columbia Falls.

June 7

Report of smoke coming from room 33 at Meadow Lake Resort. Report of a person who may be vandalizing a person’s car. Might be outside at this moment.

June 8

A boyfriend cheated on a woman and was now throwing things around. Report of a vehicle being keyed at Town Pump, but police could find no evidence of that.

June 9

A kid wrecked a dirt bike out in Pleasant Valley; had a possible broken collar bone. A man who could barely stand up was at a gas station. They helped him walk home. Report of a drunk guy shooting through his couch and the wall of his own house. But officers did not see any spent rounds or holes in the wall when they investigated. Motorcycle wrecked and caught on fire on River Road.
