Greater Valley Health in Hungry Horse expands services

Greater Valley Health Center is pleased to announce that it added two additional days, two new physicians and expanded dental services to its clinic in Hungry Horse in order to help meet the needs of Hungry Horse and surrounding communities. The clinic will be open four days per week starting on Aug. 12.
New to Greater Valley Health Center is Dr. Patsy Vargo, a family medicine physician with over 40 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Vargo graduated with her medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and completed her residency at Provenant Mercy Medical Center. Her commitment to patient centered care is her priority as she builds trusting relationships and fosters open communication.
Also joining the clinic is family medicine physician, Dr. Jason Johnson, OD. Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Rural Family Medicine Residency at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma. During his time in the Air Force, Dr. Johnson oversaw medical care for over 2,400 military family members at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia and deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti as Clinic Officer in Charge and Deputy Surgeon for a Special Forces Task Force. Dr. Johnson is a caring family physician with deep knowledge of family medical services, pediatrics, and urgent care.
Dental services have also been expanded with the addition of Dr. Luke Greene, DDS who is accepting new patients and offers dental exams and procedures for the whole family on Thursdays. Dr. Greene completed dental school at the University of Missouri and continued his education at the University of New Mexico. Dental cleanings are available by our Registered Dental Hygienists two days per month.
Drs. Vargo, Johnson and Greene welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds where patients can receive high quality care in a warm and welcoming environment.
The Hungry Horse clinic located in the Canyon Elementary School site opened in 2016 with medical services provided one day a week by the Flathead Community Health Center which became Greater Valley Health Center in 2021. New and established patients are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 406-607-4900 and walk-in care is also available.
