Columbia Falls High School presents “Bye Bye Birdie” at the Little Theater Thursday, Feb. 29 and Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m., with additional performances  Saturday, March 2 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at https://gofan.co/app/school/MT19785.

Columbia Falls Community Kitchen will be serving free, delicious meals in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m. on February 28 and 29 in the basement of St. Richard’s Catholic Church.  CFCK is nondenominational and everyone is welcome

Columbia Falls American Legion Post 72 is having their Annual Legion Oratorical competition March 16 a 1 p.m. in the Masonic Temple across from Smith Foods in Columbia Falls. Students attending Columbia Falls High School, private home schoolers and Christian schools are invited to attend for a chance to earn scholarships. 

Columbia Falls Post 72 scholarship is $250; first place $175, second $100, third $75. First place finisher travels to Helena for the American Legion Department of Montana competition March 30, top prize scholarship of $1,500. 

First place goes to the national competition, all expenses paid, in Hillsdale, Michigan May 17-19 for a top prize of $25,000.
