Photogs meet
The Northwest Montana photographers will be meeting at the Fellowship Church in Columbia Falls, for our regular meeting, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. We will be learning, about holiday photography with low light. Members photos will be on post processing before and after.
Christmas tea
Columbia Falls Women’s Connection will host their annual Christmas Tea on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church located at 827 9th St West in Columbia Falls. Special music feature will be fun with Christmas bells. And keynote speaker Rhonda Bell, a local author and teacher will share her talk on “The Bell Chimes…..Memories of Christmas.” Cost is $10 and all women are welcome to attend. Native plants talk
The Montana Native Plant Society invites the public to learn about bumblebees and their floral preferences on Thursday, December 12 at 7 p.m. at the North Valley Senior Center in Columbia Falls. Dr. Tabitha Graves will describe recent assessments of the flowers that bumble bees most frequently use and select for across the relatively short summers here in Montana. She’ll share diets of both common bumble bee species and a few species of concern that are under consideration for listing.
