Christian ‘Chris’ Hanson, 60

Christian J. Hanson left us to be with the Lord on Aug. 15, 2024.

Chris was born to Skip and Marie Hanson. He was the youngest of four children, Hal, Steve, and Neil. He was raised in Columbia Falls. He attended college in Havre where he became a heavy diesel mechanic. He returned to the valley where he started his career at the diesel shop. He married Nicole and they had three children. and during that time his dad opened Hanson trucking where he worked until the end. 

Chris later on married Liz. Chris and Liz loved camping and of course the snowmobile. He just couldn’t wait for winter. Our hearts are heavy and we will miss you tons.  Chris is survived by his wife Liz, his three children and grandchildren Christine, Steven, Talan, Cole and Raylee, Jacob and Jordan; his stepchildren Christy Golliday, Susan Wells, Jessica MacGeorge; and grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at Darlington Funeral Home Aug. 23, 2024.  Burial was at Woodlawn cemetery Columbia, Falls, and a celebration of life was held at the Hanson’s house on in Kalispell.
