Earth Day Expo at Flathead Valley Community College on April 20
The Flathead Valley Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) presents the Second Annual Earth Day Expo at Flathead Valley Community College on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Sponsors and organizers alike are excited to bring the community together to have fun and learn about the many ways we can all benefit from clean energy, innovative technologies, while saving money, and helping protect the place we all call home.
There will be a lot of fun activities, interactive booths, panel discussions, and educational workshops. For the kids, there will be hands-on learning, art, birding, and story time with ImagineIF Libraries. Young folks can meet up with local youth on their climate change concerns, hopes for the future, and student-led projects on sustainable development and design.
Expo-goers can paint a community art mural, learn about renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, electric vehicles, and tap into financial resources and incentives to purchase electric products for homes or businesses. There will also be panel discussions with experts on vital environmental issues. CCL has sought out local experts who can teach the community about innovative technologies to help us all save money and reduce pollution.
CCL thanks the Earth Day Expo platinum sponsors who’ve helped make the event possible and will be on hand to share their great renewable energy and money saving knowledge: Carbon Recall, Northstone Solar, Pioneer Heating & Cooling.
