Spikers split the week

The Columbia Falls volleyball team lost to Bigfork at home last Tuesday in four sets, 23-25, 25-22, 12-25, 19-25.

Maddie Moultray, Demye Rensel and Emalee Alton all had six kills. Kierra Kemppainen had 19 assists and Lucie Love had 11 digs.

Ellie Stutsman had two blocks.

The girls played in Libby Thursday and won in three, 25-11, 25-17, 25-22.

Emalee Alton had seven of the team’s 17 kills and Sadie Cheff had two blocks in the win.

“This was a fun match because our entire bench got to play,” coach Jolandie Brooks said.This week they travel to Browning Tuesday after presstime and then host Ronan at home Thursday night.
