Golf results

Conner Presnell tied for 12th to lead Columbia Falls in golf last week at the Columbia Falls Invitational. He shot an 85. Winslow Peters shot at 89, good enough for 16th.

Reece Malyevac of Libby shot a 4 under 68 to win the tourney.

On the girls side, Addy Bowler shot a 103 and took 10th.

Keni Wade of Bigfork won the girls title with an 86 in the Aug. 28 tourney.

At the Whitefish Invitational the next day, Bowler shot a 100 and tied for 12th. Peters had a nice outing, shooting a 78, good enough for seventh. Presnell shot a 90 and took 20th.

Brady Powell of Corvallis won the event with a 2 under 69 for the boys title and Katie Lewis of Frenchtown shot a 2 under for the girls title.

The Columbia Falls teams have two tourneys in Libby Thursday and Friday.
