The Columbia Falls volleyball team is playing much better ball as the postseason approaches. They beat Polson last week in five sets 27-25, 14-25, 12-25, 25-20, 15-11 at home. In the past few weeks they’ve also beaten Libby, Ronan and Browning, but lost to Bigfork.

They play Whitefish to wrap up the regular season Tuesday after presstime on the road.

Against Polson they had 38 kills, 68 digs, nine aces and six blocks.

Maddie Moultray had 13 kills and three blocks; Emalee Alton had seven kills and two aces; Kierra Kemppainen had 33 assists and 11 digs, and dished up four aces. Demye Rensel also had 11 digs and Ellie Stutsman had two aces.

The Wildkats are 7-6 (7-4) on the season heading to the Whitefish match.
