Kats win copper for Blocktober

The Columbia Falls volleyball team won the “copper” bracket at the Blocktober Classic in Butte over the weekend. The Wildkats dropped Browning in the bracket championship, 25-17, 25-13.

The Kats beat Libby, 25-19, 25-18 and Butte Central 25-21, 25-19 to advance to the finals.

In pool play Oct. 13, the Kats went 3-5 and were seventh in their pool.

The Kats have just one match this week — against Polson Tuesday after presstime. It’s senior night for the team.

The regular season ends in Whitefish Oct. 24 on the road.
