Cats lose to Bulldogs, face Blue Devils on the road

Columbia Falls Wildcats boys soccer took second in the North A conference after falling to the Whitefish Bulldogs 3-1 on Thursday. This will set them against the Corvallis Blue Devils to start the playoffs this Saturday.
The Wildcats ended the regular season with a 10-2-1 record overall (3-2-1), falling only to Whitefish and tying Corvallis once earlier this season.
Corvallis won the South A Conference with a 7-2-2 (5-0-1) finish.
Their top scorers still average lower than Columbia Falls, with Wildcat Kai Golan blowing away the competition with an average 5 points per match. River Wolford, Max Everett and Traic Fainter also average more points per game than Corvallis’s leaders. If the Cats win the match, they will move on to the semifinals at home.
