Spikers split the week, have a busy one ahead

The Columbia Falls volleyball team split last week, dropping Libby at home Thursday, 25-11, 25-15, 25-19.

But Saturday they lost to Bigfork on the road, 3-1, (25-23, 22-25, 25-14, 25-21).

Coach Jolandie Brooks played almost everyone against Libby.

Kierra Kemppainen had 19 assists, Emalee Alton had six kills, Ellie Stutsman fiveand Maddie Moultray five. Stutsman served up five aces.

Against Bigfork, Kemmpainen had 24 assists, Alton had 11 kills and Moultray had 10. Sadie Cheff had four blocks.

Kemppainen had nine digs, while Demye Rensel had nine as well and Lucie Love had eight.They faced Stillwater at home Tuesday after presstime, then square off against Browning at home Thursday and Ronan on the road Saturday.
