Sept. 22
Two drivers were counseled by a responding officer after a woman drove through a man’s yard and he pursued her in his own vehicle, calling dispatch as he drove on Ninth Street.
Sept. 23
Montana Highway Patrol called in backup for alcohol abuse involving an MIP, with the vehicle parked at City Hall until its owner was sober the next day. A white sedan was involved in a vehicular hit and run on Highway 93 in Whitefish, with open container, unlawful marijuana and DUI charges listed in the call record.
Sept. 24
A disturbance of the peace was reported on Frontage Road for two brothers in a physical altercation, no charges were pressed. A suicide threat was reported on Jellison Road — man believed to have a 9mm pistol walking the train tracks; when law enforcement contacted the man he denied being suicidal.
Sept. 25
Two dogs were reported chasing down a man and attempting to bite him on Eighth Street.
Sept. 26
A female child left school after first period and was recovered on Thirteenth Street.
Sept. 27
A landlord and tenant got in a heated verbal argument over bathroom hygiene and were called in for a disturbance on Fourth Avenue.
