Speech and debate does well in Bozeman

The Wildcat Speech and Debate team competed at the AA Invitational Tournament in Bozeman over the weekend.  Columbia Falls placed first in their class and fifth overall. The competition included 17 varsity and 11 JV AA teams and six Class A/B/C teams from Montana and Idaho with 558 competitors. 

The following students placed in their individual events:

Lucas Counts and Kajsa Mohr, second in Duo Interp

Ruby Davis, second in Informative

Carson Settles and Reed Wollenzien, third in Duo Interp

Kynsleigh Gould, third in Impromptu

Carson Settles, fourth in Informative 

Keira Northcutt and Kendal Moultray, sixth in Novice Policy Debate

Kynsleigh Gould, seventh in Extemporaneous

Eleanor Smiley, seventh in Memorized Public Address

Celestine Young and Lauren Rogers, eighth Policy Debate

This weekend the team competes in Browning.
