Wildcats do well at Kalispell Kickoff tourney; third overall
The Columbia Falls speech and debate team took third overall and first among A schools at the Kalispell Kickoff tourney at Glacier High School over the weekend.
The Wildcats racked up 119 sweeps points with Loyola coming in second in a tiebreaker against Frenchtown, both with 32 points.
Overall, Columbia Falls was just behind Glacier with 224.5 sweeps points and Flathead with 162.5 points.
The Cats had two first-place finishers — Ruby Davis nailed a medal in Informative and Boone Shanks and Lauren Rogers took first in Policy Debate.
The Cats travel to Bozeman this weekend to face east side schools before the holiday break.
