Police investigating bomb threats, but no bomb found

Kalispell Police Department responded to a report of a bomb threat at a grocery store in the east north area of town at 9 p.m. Saturday.

The store was evacuated and officers and store management walked through the building. Nothing suspicious was found, according to a press release. Later, Smith’s in Columbia Falls store also received a bomb threat with the same outcome.

The police department said stores across the nation have received threats with similar, if not identical, details.
