Cloey Ramage takes second in state tennis
Cloey Ramage took second at the state A tennis tournament in Missoula last week.
Ramage opened the tourney by beating Skylar Rutten of Lewistown 6-1, 6-0; then she dropped Janessa Chapin of Hamilton, 6-3, 6-1.
In the semifinal she beat Bryn Coffin of Miles City, 6-2, 6-2.
She the faced her old foe, Clara Todd of Polson. Despite a well-played match, she lost 6-1, 6-1.
Ramage, a senior, was the lone tennis player to qualify for the state tournament this year from Columbia Falls.
