FEC election results

Flathead Electric Cooperative’s annual election results are in.

Results showed a total of 6,447 ballots received. Of those ballots, 4,029 were paper mail-in ballots and 2,418 were e-ballots. 

Three seats on the Co-op’s Board of Trustees were up for election this year. Incumbent Jerry Bygren retained his seat representing District #8 (Bigfork). Bygren received 4,265 votes to Mike Wacker’s 1,564. Incumbents Duane Braaten (District #6, West Valley to Marion) and Terry Crooks (District #9, Libby) were unopposed and were re-elected to the Board by 5,598 and 5,412 votes, respectively.
