Firefighters douse shed fire in Martin City

Hungry Horse and Martin City firefighters responded Thursday shortly after noon to a shed fire next to a home in Martin City.
The blaze began as a brush fire but quickly spread to the building. Forest Service fire crews were also present.
No one was injured, but the shed was damaged. Folks are urged to use caution while burning brush and other items, as it's supposed to be windy and dry until later today.
Friday and through the weekend should bring rain showers and even snow in the higher terrain.
