Girls win Whitefish A.R.M. meet with a host of placers

The Columbia Falls girls track team had their best meet of the season so far, winning the Whitefish A.R.M. on Saturday. The Wildkats were led by Emma McAllister, who won the pole vault by clearing 10 feet even. The Kats then took a host of places in other events, including taking second through fifth in the 3,200 — with Courtney Hoerner, Ashley Andrews, Findley Dezzani, and Marissa Schaeffer placing respectively.

Siri Erickson was second in the 1,600 and Ally Sempf was second in the 200 and third in the 100.

Ellie Stutsman took third in the discus, fifth in the javelin and fourth in the shot put. Courtney Hussion was third in the 300 hurdles.

The boys took third.

Malaki Simpson continued his winning ways in the sprints, taking first in the 100 and 400. Bryce Dunham won the javelin. Lane Voermans was second in the shot put. Jace Duval had a great long jump, clearing 21-1 to take first.
