Blickhan, Pickard win in doubles

The Columbia Falls tennis squads had a tough go against Polson last week.

The girls lost 6-1 and the boys lost 5-2.

Aliyah Arends had the lone win for the girls in No. 4 singles, dropping Addison Bahr of Polson 6-3, 6-4.

The boys team had better luck, as the doubles squad of Will Pickard and Dale Blickhan dropped Brock Henriksen and Colter Wilson, 6-3, 6-4.

In No. 3 doubles, Wildcats Connor Zumalt and Jaegar Mohr beat Seth Anderson and Lachlan Sloan 6-0, 6-1.

The teams have a busy week of matches, with Whitefish Tuesday after presstime; Browning JV at home Thursday and Libby and Ronan Saturday at home.
