March 14
A man was contacted by police after threatening a neighbor’s cat; claimed he was not really going to shoot the cat, but expressed frustration because his son was allergic and the cat was getting too close to his house; would take it to the animal shelter if it happened again. Report of a school bus door being left open, no damage found inside the bus.
March 15
Report of a man acting disorderly at City Hall. A man was given a DUI on 12th Avenue while driving with a nine-year-old child.
March 16
A woman reported someone tampering with her vehicle on Diane Road. A customer at a fast food restaurant made threats at employees in the drive through and sped off. A female teenager was experiencing mental issues after a concussion and had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital after acting aggressively. Report of a domestic dispute on Diane Road, a man had previously been taken out of the building via stretcher before according to the reporting party. Report of a burst water pipe at a bar on Nucleus, it resulted in at least one inch of water throughout the entire building.
March 17
Report of a police pursuit by CFPD of a male and female with a warrant out of the Kalispell Police Department, the male attempted to flee on foot but was tased and the female left the scene in a gray Dodge truck. Police responded to a domestic dispute after parents on 5th Avenue took their daughter’s phone away and she became belligerent, the parents then locked her out of the home and told police she was also intoxicated but were unsure where she got the alcohol.
March 18
A homeowner on Diane Road reported three males and a female around 13 years old knocking on their door and running away, which has been going on for several days. Report of a young female being attacked by a party of six dogs on 3rd Avenue, the girl received bites on her hand and was bleeding. According to the report, the fight happened after the dogs were fighting and got loose and bit the victim when she tried to separate the dogs.
March 19
Report of a smoking planter outside an apartment on 12th Avenue, someone probably didn’t put out their cigarette correctly. A stolen item from a job site was found at a pawn shop in Lakeside.
