Report of a vehicle hitting a deer on Hilltop Road. A motor vehicle accident resulting in one person trapped inside a vehicle on Walsh Road, medical units responded. Report of a house fire on 1st Street. Medical units responded to an 82-year -old woman on oxygen on 8th Street suffering from chest pain.
Feb. 28
A man made a fuss when police would not give him a ride to work in Kalispell, officers said they lack the resources to shuttle people around. A man received an upset text from his daughter’s ex boyfriend who was not happy that the female had filed a restraining order. Report of two young males throwing rocks at oncoming traffic near the Burger King.
March 1
A clerk at the post office received a threat from a customer who was unhappy with the service. A party reported that someone had tampered with their gas fireplace in a home on Nucleus Avenue.
March 2
A female driver reported that two males in a white Dodge Ram followed her all the way from Kalispell, rolled down their window and made aggressive comments. Police advised her to drive to the police station to de-escalate their road rage. Police responded to a suicide threat on 8th Street.
March 3
A Columbia Falls man was detained in Idaho at a traffic stop for driving without a license and possible drug related incident; Idaho State Police claimed his story to go skiing did not add up because no skis were found in his car. Police responded to a suicide threat on 1st Avenue.
March 4
Police responded to a medical incident of a woman who fell down that was recently released from the hospital for pneumonia; apparently she had barricaded herself in her apartment and the manager was not present to open it and law enforcement were required for forced entry. A man was seen walking in the middle of Highway 2 on Teakettle Bridge causing cars to swerve.
Report of a male and female being dragged out of their vehicle in Martin City by four men on 1st Avenue, both were maced and the male was stripped and beaten with a baseball bat, the suspects then stole the vehicle and drove off before police arrived.
A female claimed four men were seen trespassing on her property and loitering in her camper on 5th Avenue in Columbia Falls.
March 5
A female claimed someone was stalking her at a park on 6th Street, police provided extra patrol and the man left her alone. A party on 5th Avenue claimed she and her son who were living in a trailer were maced by some high school age kids while they were inside of the trailer.
