Second annual Cloverfest on March 11
The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce will hold its second annual Cloverfest on March 11.
The event features a carnival for kids, a 5K run and 1K fun run and live music throughout the afternoon.
Folks are encouraged to wear St. Patrick’s Day green for the occasion.
This year the event has been moved to the Coop behind O’Brien’s Wine and Liquor Store.
The 5K run starts at 11 a.m. and the fun run starts at 12:30 p.m. and is open to all ages.
The kids carnival is $10 per person, families of four or more are $30 and kids under 5 are free.
The 5K is $30 per person and includes entrance to the event st. The Fun run is $15 and also includes entry to all the events.
Dress in green as there will be a costume contest at the end of the race as well as other themed awards. Themed Awards include: Most “Cloverly” Dressed, Lucky Charm, Needs Pinched, Green Machine, Ready to Shamrock, Golden Achiever, and Youngest Leprechaun.
The kids carnival includes free face painting, carnival games, live music, food trucks, cotton candy for sale, and craft table during the carnival.
Live music starts at noon with Stick and String until 1:30 p.m. and then a performance from the Flathead Valley Irish Dancers at 2 p.m.
The Montana Shamrockers wrap things up from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
There will also be a cash bar and food trucks, both which are not included in the entry fee.
The event supports the Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce.
