Columbia Falls Bookmobile ready to hit the streets

| June 21, 2023 9:15 AM

The Columbia Falls Bookmobile, which puts books in kids’ hands during the summer months, will once again be making stops across the district.

The Bookmobile runs from the last week in June until the first week in August.

The service will deliver books directly to the home, but also makes stops in the general community as well. Many families are already signed up, but for those that aren’t, they can stop by the main School District 6 offices adjacent to the Glacier Gateway School.

The first deliveries start June 27 and run until Aug. 3. They’ll also be delivering food bags from Land to Hand.

The runs are as follows:

Tuesdays: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Canyon (Hungry Horse, Martin City and Coram); 3-6 p.m. Columbia Falls swimming pool and south of town.

Wednesdays: 11-2 p.m. Boys and Girls Club and north Columbia Falls.

Thursdays: 11-2 p.m., Columbia Heights and south down Highway 206; 3-6 p.m., Southwest, west and outlying areas.

Books are available for ages K-12 and are free.
