July 18

A fence was damaged on Veteran Drive, possible vandalism. Police were called to assist employees at a store on Nucleus with a customer that was experiencing erratic mood swings, possibly under the influence.

July 19

A concerned citizen called police on some kids vaping in a local park; the kids ran off when they heard the police were called. A resident of Martin City reported hearing nine rounds from a handgun fired in the baseball fields, also reported seeing a group of suspicious looking people walking around town, possibly intoxicated. A drunk bar patron on Highway 2 hit a sign in the parking lot and was given a DUI.

July 20

Report of stolen bank account information, thieves were using cards to purchase a Walmart subscription, victim claims they use an unsecure wifi network. Report of a vehicle collision on Highway 2 near the Conoco, no injuries reported.

July 21

Report of a red Dodge hitting a kid on a bike in a parking lot on Highway 2. The child was not seriously injured. Report of a T-bone vehicle collision at an intersection on Highway 2, ambulance called to assist. Report of a hit and run on Nucleus Avenue. Police responded to a civil dispute on 3rd Avenue. A man was looking for his girlfriend at a river access point after she left his vehicle while they were in an argument, stating this was normal behavior.

July 22

Police responded to a civil dispute on 11th Street. Report of a three vehicle accident on Highway 40 near Whitefish. A seven year old child jumped out of a window and ran away, was later returned to the mother. Report of someone trespassing in a garage on Council Bluffs Drive. Domestic violence reported on 8th Street — a 35-year-old woman was attacking her husband and throwing glass items.

July 23

Police responded to a suicide threat on 5th Street. Police responded to a couple that were in an argument that turned violent in the soccer fields near the junior high. Reckless driver on Highway 2.
