Swimmers take title in Polson
Both the Columbia Falls boys and girls swim teams took home titles at the Polson Invitational Jan. 6, with a host of first-place finishes.
“Lots of great and fast swims. The hard work we put in over break has certainly paid off, the swimmers showed up to race,” coach Amy Caudill said.
Here’s some of the more notable finishes:
The girls 200 yard medley relay took first place with a time of 2:14.77- Emma Stoddard, Sadie Cheff, Eloise McKeon, and Kaylee King.
• Eloise McKeon won both of her events, 200 free in 2:24.38 and the 100 Fly in 1:14.66
• Sadie Cheff won the 200 IM in 2:45.56 and the 100 free in 1:02.75
• Connor Keith won the 200 IM in 2:19.83 and took 4th in the 100 Free
• Adam Schrader won the 50 free in 23.31 and took 2nd in the 100 Free
• Kaylee King won the 50 free in 28.49 and took 2nd in the 100 back
• Emma Stoddard won the 100 breast and took third in the 500 Freestyle
• Teagan Bates won the 100 Backstroke
•The boys 200 Freestyle Relay took first with Adam Schrader, Teagan Bates, Kanen Brickert, and Avic Lime.
The team competes in the Missoula this Saturday.
