Report of a hit and run involving a high school student and a black minivan on Highway 2. A vehicle with temporary plates was seen peeling out of the Nite Owl parking lot and driving erratically. Report of an assault at an apartment complex in Martin City, both parties had been drinking.
April 14
A woman called saying some people would not return her deceased daughter’s belongings. A dirt bike and 4x4 were seen racing around the baseball field. Police responded to a suicide threat on Meadow Lake Boulevard.
April 15
Report of several juveniles on dirtbikes driving recklessly on 11th Avenue.
April 16
Report of a vehicle collision in the Smith’s parking lot involving a 72-year-old man. A female was spotted on the shoulder of the road attempting to save a bee that had been hit by a moving vehicle. Report of a physical threat and disorderly conduct by a man at a restaurant; claimed he was going for his gun before leaving.
April 17
Suicide threat on Second Avenue. A woman was slumped over the wheel of her car and parked the wrong way in a parking lot. She was just sleeping and pulled over to rest.
Motorcycle wreck on Highway 2. Man was banged up and was not wearing a helmet.
