Track takes fifth at Hamilton Invite
The Columbia Falls track teams both took fifth at the Hamilton Invitational last week to open the season.
Malaki Simpson and Kai Golan took second and third respectively in the 100 meters with times of 11.58 and 11.81.
Simpson also took second in the 200.
Adam Schrader was second in the 400 with a 54.11. He was sixth in the 100 hurdles.
Lane Voermans was third in the shot put, with a 48-2 throw. He also took sixth in the discus.
On the girls’ side, Ally Sempf was third in the 100 with a 13.68 and fifth in the 400. Mya badger was fifth in the 800 and Nina Badger was fifth in the 1,600.
Courtney Hussion was fifth in the 300 hurdles and fourth in the triple jump. The girls took fourth in the 400 relay.
Ellie Stutsman was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 34-10.5
Emma McAllister took third in the pole vault with a 9-0.
