April 3

A driver reported seeing an intoxicated driver on Hilltop Road. A young girl was approached by an older man while skateboarding that made her uncomfortable.

April 4

Report of a dog bite on 2nd Avenue, the victim did not want to press charges, just to report the incident. A woman reported some signs were damaged in her front yard on 8th Street. A man with several warrants for his arrest turned himself into custody.

April 5

Report of a massive bonfire at a residence on 6th Avenue, flames reportedly eight feet tall. A man fell asleep while cooking in a kitchen at a house on Bills Lane, residents were able to subdue the fire before authorities arrived.

April 6

A 7-year-old female was stuck in an elevator on Talbot Road. Police responded to a suicide threat on Highway 2. A suspicious father told police he suspected his son and his son’s friend were lying about their whereabouts, believing marijuana was involved. A young male told police that his mother tried to run him over.

April 7

A man was trespassing on an ex-girlfriend’s house on Crescent Drive, drugs possibly involved. An ex-employee was making current employees uncomfortable at a store on Railroad Street while handing out flyers.

April 8

A driver picked up a hitchhiker on Highway 2 who looked like a man police had posted a photo of on Facebook, the driver took a picture of the man’s New York State issued driver’s license and informed the authorities, a warrant went out for the man’s arrest. Report of a burglary on Wildcat Drive, a man was attempting to swap out a newer refrigerator for an older one. An erratic driver on Highway 2 was seen holding a shotgun.

April 9

A man in a gray sweatshirt was making strange noises and following pedestrians on Highway 2. Report of a motor vehicle accident in Columbia Falls, a SUV hit a motorcycle rider from behind, the rider was breathing but non responsive. Report of a car attempting to run another vehicle off the road on 5th Avenue.

April 10

A man erratically passed a car on Middle Road and pointed a gun at the driver before speeding off. Police responded to a civil situation on Martha Road, a woman was not leaving a property where she was no longer welcome. A woman reported being stalked by her ex-husband on Martha Road.
