Accolades for Schaeffer

Columbia Falls High School wrestling coach Jessie Schaeffer was named the class A wrestling coach of the year.

Schaeffer lead the MatCats to their first class A state title in 33 years in a total team effort — the MatCats had just one state champion in Justin Windauer, but the rest of the team amassed enough points by placing to secure the state title over Miles City.

Schaeffer is in his 17th season as head coach of the program.
