The Columbia Falls girls soccer team split the bill on the road last week, dropping Lockwood 4-2 on Friday, but losing to nemesis Laurel 3-2 on Saturday.
Against Lockwood Hope McAtee had a pair of goals, Tayler Lingle had one, and freshman Mila Johns had her first goal of the season as well.
The Wildcats were up 3-0 at the break.
Sydney Mann had the assist on Lingle’s goal. Josie Harris assisted on John’s goal, which came in the 68th minute.
Against Laurel, the Wildcats were down 2-1 at the half, after giving up an own goal at the 3-minute mark.
McAtee would get the Cats on the board at the 26-minute mark and Mann had a score 78 minutes in to make it 3-2.
The girls now travel to Bigfork to start conference play. The Valkyries are a solid club this year and are 2-1-1 while the Cats are 3-1. Bigfork tied Laurel earlier this season.
