The Columbia Falls football team walloped East Helena on the road last Friday 43-6. Jace Duval ran a kickoff back for a touchdown and then scored on a 25-yard pass from quarterback Cody Schweikert as the Wildcats scored early and often against hapless East Helena.

Justin Windauer caught a 50-yard pass from Schweikert and Reggie Sapa had two rushing touchdowns, one in the first half and another in the second half, in the blowout.

The Cats were up 29-6 at the half.

Alihn Anderson wrapped up the scoring for the Wildcats with an 18-yard TD run in the fourth.

Sapa rushed for 64 yards on 16 carries to lead the Cats. Schweikert was 21 for 26 for 305 yards and Sapa came in the second half and threw for 105 more yards.

Mark Robison led the Cats with 120 yards receiving. He also kicked all the extra points. Windauer had 109 yards receiving and Duval had 58. All told, eight receivers had a catch.

The Cats (2-0) play Ronan at home this Friday at 7 p.m. as they start conference play. Ronan lost to Libby last week 21-12.
