Sept. 1
A woman called police asking to remove her mother from her property, the mother was living there in a vehicle and causing a disturbance. Reports of a father hitting his daughter in a grocery store parking lot causing a bloody nose. A black bear was sighted near the apartments on Bills Lane.
Sept. 2
Threats were made over Snapchat by a man who said he would shoot up a family’s house on 10th Street; police believe he was armed based on evidence. A group of teenagers were reported to be harassing patrons and asking them to purchase tobacco products at a gas station on Highway 2.
Sept. 3
A silver Lexus was seen swerving all over the road on Railroad Street and turned on to Nucleus at 6 p.m.; police advised the reporting party to stop following the suspect.
Sept. 4
Bears were reported to be hanging around a squatters camp near Veterans Drive, the bears left a bit of a mess at the camp. A dog was locked in a car at a park off Nucleus.
Sept. 5
Two dogs were fighting on Scenic Drive, one animal was sent to the vet. Another bear was spotted digging through trash near the Old Red Bridge. An older green SUV was seen speeding on Martha Road.
