Sept. 28

Report of an older man harassing a married couple on 4th Avenue, he grabbed the reporting party’s arm and made violent threats, possibly with dementia, no known weapons on the suspect. A truck was seen swerving on Nucleus Avenue and crashed into a light pole, and was last seen heading westbound on Highway 2.

Sept. 29

A neighbor on 8th Avenue complained about loud noises and partying late into the night at a residence across the street, claiming the suspects were very intoxicated.

Sept. 30

A dump truck was seen running red lights and swerving through Meadow Lake Boulevard, and last seen heading down Highway 40. Several kids were seen running in front of cars near the High School after the homecoming game.

Oct. 1

A cat got stuck behind a water heater on Bills Lane. Report of a domestic dispute between a man and his girlfriend, the man claimed he was assaulted by her and took off on foot, showed bite marks and scratch marks.

Oct. 2

An officer reported seeing a gate tampered with, as well as non-bear proof trash cans tipped over and scattered in the area, possibly criminal misconduct regarding the gate. A New Mexico man called police claiming his wife died and got upset when dispatch started asking questions, demanding to speak to the shift supervisor.
