The Blotter: Stolen car pursuit on Hilltop
Nov. 23
A confrontation broke out involving a 15-year old-male making violent threats on Nucleus Avenue; his mother was brought to the scene and the youth was subdued before any action was taken. A female was advised on riding her bike at night without proper lights.
Nov. 24
Police engaged in a motorized pursuit of a stolen vehicle, which started on Hilltop Road and resulted in spikes deployed on Highway 2.
Nov. 25
A family in town received violent threats from a known party who also sent a picture of an AK-47; police provided extra patrol to the family based on the nature of the situation. Report of some kids recklessly driving a golf cart on 11th Street almost hitting a pedestrian and not stopping at stop signs. A resident on 9th Street had a heart attack; then when returning home reported several kids trespassing on their roof.
Nov. 26
A man reported his supposed girlfriend had caused significant damage to his belongings after a falling out. Medical units responded to an unconscious man at the Blue Moon who reportedly uses cocaine somewhat regularly.
Nov. 27
Violence broke out at an apartment building on 7th Street involving a man punching a hole in the wall during an argument. A construction fence on 6th Street fell on a parked vehicle. A resident on Nucleus Avenue reported that someone threw a firework out of a moving vehicle that went off outside their home.
