An employee’s vehicle was stolen from the Super One parking lot at around 3 a.m., suspect seen on camera wearing a tank top and blue jeans with a beanie over a ball cap, vehicle was later recovered.
Oct. 21
A neighborhood rooster was causing noise issues on 8th Street, police informed the owner that they needed to remove it from the location. An orange truck with a trailer was swerving through a school zone on Talbot Road.
Oct. 22
Police responded to a water leak in an apartment building on Martha Road and had the owner turn water off to prevent further damage.
Oct. 23
A Chevy Silverado was seen swerving on Meadowlake Boulevard speeding and passing cars over a double yellow line. Neighbors seen arguing outside on 12th Avenue.
Oct. 24
Report of a person entering a liquor store on 1st Avenue then grabbing two bottles of liquor and leaving without paying.
Oct. 25
Shoplifter reported at pharmacy on Highway 2. Report of a parking lot hit and run in Smith’s parking lot, one vehicle backed into another and drove off. Report of a cleaning lady stealing items from a house on 4th Street.
Oct. 28
Report of a mother upset that the father had given her child weed at some point. Police were called after an argument broke out when a mom took her daughter’s phone and earphones away. A suspicious person scanned all their items at the self checkout line at a grocery store but did not pay properly and left.
Oct. 29
A report of a burglary on Castle Hill Lane, police noticed several suspects walking with alcohol cases down the road not far from the scene.
Oct. 30
A Boston terrier was on the loose and got himself locked in the new tennis courts on 12th Street, he was playing with a ball. Someone was spotted stealing out of a garbage can on 8th Street.
